Главное, о чем мы сегодня объявляем в нашей Афише это Приход весны. Наконец-то, Апрель докажет всем, что весна возможна и в наших нью-йоркских широтах. И ежегодная выставка цветов в Macy’s 1 апреля, станет достойной церемонией по этому долгожданному поводу. А Пасхальный карнавал и великолепный Парад Шляп 5 апреля, позволит нам всем окончательно вырваться из очень цепких, в этом году, объятий зимы. Так что доставайте из бабушкиных сундуков старинные федоры, изящные шляпки с вуальками или широкополые шляпы с цветами, достойные королевских скачек и отправляйтесь на парад. Если бабушкин сундук остался за океаном, то шляпу легко купить прямо по дороге на парад или смастерить дома из подручных средств. Главное, побольше фантазии и хорошее настроение вам обеспеченно.
Конечно, кроме парада и нескольких выставок цветов, Нью-Йорк порадует нас в апреле и другими событиями. Нас ждет потрясающий концерт в Карнеги холле – дует двух гениальных джазовых пианистов Chick Corea и Herbie Hancock. Кроме того, состоятся бейсбольные матчи с участием Yankees, знаменитый фестиваль фильмов в Трайбеке, уникальная фотовыставка в Park Avenue Armory, мотоциклетные гонки и автошоу, фестиваль цветущей вишни, дегустация французских вин, подушечные бои в парке и так далее и тому подобное, о чем читайте в нашей Афише.
Особо хотим отметить и лично пригласить наших читателей на выставку изобразительного искусства (Stand with Ukraine, an international group exhibition), в организации, которой Elegant New York принял самое непосредственное и активное участие.
